We came with high expectations, celebrating our 30. anniversary, and the entire dinner experience, from first contact, dining room ambiance, an amazing Maitre D' with a so smooth service operation, multilingual and so elegantly presented, purest joy! What Executive Chef Paolo Casagrande and his team...More

My friends went here a couple years ago and recommended this place for us to try. Luckily, by the time we went there, they had gone up 1 Michelin star! The food was mostly delicious, but the presentation was spectacular. I have found that oftentimes...More

This is truly worth the 3 stars from Michelin. The tasting menu was amazing. Well presented, great size given the 17 or so courses. We had the wine match which was 6 glasses of different wines as free poor. they were very well match. this...More

Being a 3 Michelin-stared restaurant, we went into it with our expectations set to the max and I can genuinely say that they were not only met but rather blown away! The menu is absolutely sublime providing a blend of flavors and textures that we...More

We left with rather mixed emotions even though we were presented with an array of gastronomical delights and service was immaculate. We found the setting and atmosphere overall very stiff, cold and uninviting. This is partially due to the layout of the restaurant which has...More

First off I will admit that my two star rating is reflecting my unmet expectations and the poor value for money. This is clearly a world class restaurant but one for which you will be no worse off by not visiting. We chose the full...More

We had a private dining room overlooking the chefs at work - and boy, do they work, actually no, they create! Our party of 6 visited the tasting menu and it was truly magnificent - flavours, presentation, tastes - just perfect. If you want something...More

We don't have 3 star Michelin in DC but I did visit Maido and Central in Lima Peru so I have something to compare. I found the waiters young which surprised me. I found them a bit too formal and overwhelming as well. But that...More

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best

There are 2 tasting menus. One is called the "Menu Lasarte" and costs 130 Euros and the other is simple called "Tasting Menu" and costs 165 Euros. I think (but am not certain) that that price included the wine pairing.

Lasarte Restaurant opened in January 2006 and holds 2 Michelin stars since 2010. Lasarte is Martín Berasategui's cuisine embassy in Barcelona. After a full renovation carried out recently, the new Lasarte Restaurant is surprisingly much more modern and with more spacious and bright look. The emphasis on light, textures with dominance of oak and selection of furnishings have been the mainstay of the entire project to give the restaurant a unique personality. The culinary offer keeps the essence of Martin Berasategui's cuisine. At the head of the kitchen is Paolo Casagrande, who presents a selection of Berasategui's signature dishes with passion and enthusiasm, as well as new innovative dishes created especially for Lasarte. Joan Carles Ibáñez and his front of house team are the kitchen's ambassadors in the dining room and responsible for ensuring this wonderful cuisine reaches the table in a simply perfect way to make any visit a celebration. The restaurant has a semi-private room in the main dining room and a second private dining room, called the Chef's Table for up to 8 people -located in a loft over the kitchen with a glass wall that allows our guests to follow on all staging and creativity of the dishes.
