There are 4-5 different places of this chain that offer fresh sea food, that you can check just in front of you and choose. Excellent and plain food in logical prices. Do not expect a restaurant or a real tavern. It is like a small by the corner eating place, for working class people. But the food and the whole experience... More

The restaurant was close to the place where we stayed and every time we walked by, there was a queue of people outside (it still doesn't take long and it's well worth it). Once you arrive at the counter, you literary pick and choose what you want and how much of it. There are a few options how you want... More

Something we wanted to avoid was to have to spend money in central touristy restaurants, where you end up eating even if you know that the quality is more likely not the best. In La Paradeta we were able to eat fresh fish (chosen at the counter) at a fairly good price. It was suggested by locals and we found... More

A taxi driver recommended this to us as we had a late evening slot to see the Segrada Familia just around the corner. You have to queue to get in, choose your seafood then find a table and wait for your number to be called to collect your food. It's a very busy, noisy cafe so not for a leisurely,... More

Restaurants which make you pay upfront always worry me. Unfortunately this place hasn't changed my mind at all. We arrived at 7:55pm and there was already a long queue, so get here early. After about 10 minutes we reached the front and were greeted by a small but very fresh seafood counter. The lady serving us was very nice but... More

The variety of seafood is great but not everything is cooked well! For example I asked for some jumbo prawns to be grilled, and what we got was fried prawns that were not cooked well and they were still raw inside! The calamari was great. The salad was good. The crab was OK. Prices are OK too. For 3 adults... More

What they do they do well. Cafeteria style atmosphere. The seafood was very fresh (we had a variety of fried items that were uniformly excellent) and well prepared.

This is one of the best seafood restaurants we been to in Spain. Everything is so fresh, it's still moving! Cooked to perfection and it's a simple place with great food.
