The very hard-working host/waiter who was working the entire dining room greeted us warmly and seated us after about 15 minutes. The food was excellent, and the wine list outstanding. Our energetic waiter was attentive and very friendly throughout.

I had to visit this restaurant in the Gothic quarter after reading all those positive reviews. I ordered almost all the hot dishes and didn't have a good experience. The setting is very nice and the service is good but the food wasn't great. Perhaps they're known for their cold tapas which I haven't tried..?

Made dinner reservations for a birthday in Barcelona. It was terrific and we came back for our last night dinner. We ordered all tapas both visits. Everything we ordered was great but the highlights were queso de oveja (sheep cheese), fried green peppers, various different ham... We asked for a dry red wine recommendation (less than 25 euro) and we... More

Upon reading in our Lonely Planet guide of the excellent food and wine on offer, we decided to venture out and hunt for this hidden treasure. We found it after passing past La Catedral with music echoing through the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter; a fitting introuduction to this gem of a restaurant. We heard of the restaurant's popularity... More

Found this little place recommended within " Rough guide to Barcelona" & highlighted as a wanted to find during my 40th birthday holiday. A few Very narrow cobbled streets back off of Las Rambles my partner & I were dubious we were following the directions correctly but there it was an unassuming little frontage. Oh what a find!! You walk... More

Came across this restaurant after reading reviews of a few in close proximity and though it was difficult to find, it was certainly worth the search. The restaurant is easy to miss and without a menu outside you could be forgiven for thinking it's just a bar but tables stretch down the back and in another room. It was busy... More

We were a group of four friends who visited on the recommendation of our hotel, and we're extremely glad that we took their advice. Our advance booking request via their website was kindly confirmed by Miguel within a couple of hours. Although it was quiet at our 7.30pm arrival time on a Friday evening, the place was completely full by... More

And we found it! We chose the card of cheeses, and select eight of them and a good red wine... Sure we had a good evening tasting different flavors and smells of cheeses. Good service. Remember to have time to relax under selection!
