Very kind service and good quality food. The lunch menu is a great value for money, with great home made ingredients. Will definitely come back!

My prefered vegetarian restaurant in Girona. Good menu on weekdays, and a la carte on weekends. go..

Food was really good. Nicely done with love, but I don't like to be treated like arrogant... Just ignore the servant at the entrance :-)

Upon arriving we were looking at some restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel and stumbled upon Amaranta. The owner greeted us politely and explained the daily menu. This was very helpful because we don't understand a word of Catalan and Google doesn't translate vast amounts of culinary terms. Next we received a glass of cava on the house which... More

Enjoyed the town center location away from tourist haunts. Nicely done limited choices that are fresh and well conceived. My late lunch took the place of dinner. After so much meat in France this was a welcome change. Liked the courses and wine that went so well with the food.

Good variation in vegetarian meals. Hard to find when you are a visitor in Girona, it's far from the old town.

It's probably a 15 min walk from old town - very easy to find as it's pretty much just following one street. I believe they're only open for lunch. Just to prove how local this place... More

We went to Amaranta for a three course lunch. The dishes were all good in varying degrees. Ranging from OK to excellent. The value for money wasn't spectacular but still good enough to warrant a possible return. The staff spoke English and explained the menu in great detail.
