L'alqueria specialises in Paella. The staff are very friendly. We were given little treats to start, a glass of vermouth with some nibbles. The paella was very good as it should be when the chef is from Valencia.

Visited this place following good reviews on TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed. The paella was fantastic and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with more than enough paella for the two of us. Would highly recommend.

Good restaurant for eating any type of paella (they have one of the largest paella's menus out there). Food was good. Nothing to complaint about quality of ingredients and preparation. A bit overpriced in my opinion though. Service a bit slow. Then, they really need to change some pieces of the dishware. A glass and plate was slightly broken on... More

Lovely setting in the old town and friendly service. Not too expensive for a city centre restaurant and good value especially with the special touches like a welcome aperitif, dip, and amuse bouche. Oh and the seafood paella was perfect!

This is a super restaurant tucked away in an alley (Carril Ginesta) near Plaza Catalunya. Each course was preceded by a small extra mini-course prepared with local ingredients, for instance a lovely bacalao pate` with vermouth on the rocks as a welcome, a really excellent taste of extra virgin olive oil with a small warm roll after the starter, etc.... We LOVED our meal here! This was our first visit to Spain, and we were really looking forward to paella. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you want delicious paella. Along with your meal you get vermouth, creamy potatoes, and little crackers with dip. Our server was very friendly, and the restaurant is beautiful. You will not be disappointed... More

We left stuffed, slightly tipsy but very happy. Delicious food and a cracking bottle of Chardonnay. Our meal was very much worth the cost and would certainly go again. Thank you.

We certainly enjoyed the food that we were served, but were disappointed in the pacing of our meal. We were certainly not in a hurry, but our long lunch became way too long. Extensive breaks between courses, empty wine glasses, and very little attention from our servers. We ordered two very different paellas and they were both certainly excellent. But... More
