We were driving through Tarragona and stopped for lunch, saw the recommendations for this restaurant and found after walking for about 15 minutes. The host was very accommodating. He and his wife run this restaurant. There is no menu, he explains what is available in quite good english and was very friendly. He has a waiter who assists him. The... More

Vi came here after tripadvisor review. It was a small restaurant and nice old decor, located in the old town. The owner welcome us warmly. At first he told us it was fully booked but after he heard that we would be here for one day so he managed to get us a table. There were no menu because they... More

I came here because I was coming to Tarragona for the day from Barcelona and the reviews for this restaurant are good. I phoned up about 12 to book a table for 13.30 and we had no issues. Some spanish in this restaurant in essential as there is no restaurant the owner Julio comes over and talks about the restaurant... More

We were the first into the restaurant for our Menu del Dia and felt slightly embarrassed because of the effort put in by Julio explaining the menu. Thankfully within ten minutes the place filled up and Julio was equally as enthusiastic with every customer. The restaurant is an experience mixing excellent food, a charming restaurant with an owner who is... More

This is a fantastic place for lunch. The owner is charming and tells you the daily menu with great pride (deservedly so). The food appears to be classic Catalán, richly flavored and generously portioned. The meal is beautifully paced, plenty of time to enjoy the food itself, wine and the company you find yourself with.

Nice little place tucked away in the old town. We sat outside and although they were nowhere near full for lunch there was only the owner and one waiter and they were pretty pushed. However it was a nice day and we were in no hurry. Julio translates as best he can (mainly with his hands!) but enough to explain... More

We win here based on the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The owner is wonderful! We even took pictures of him trying to explain the menu. (Or lack of one) to all of us in broken English. You basically get what his wife cooks that day. But, don't worry, it's wonderful! We enjoyed salads, a pasta course... More

We ate here on our first night in Tarragona and what a way to start our week! Do not book this restaurant expecting a normal meal. You are booking a one off experience. The owner takes a great deal of time to explain the menu; that is his menu for that night. There is no normal carte you are talked... More

I was alone and had the impression that beacuse of this they didn't pay attention to me. After giving me a seat on the outside table, they forgot me there. After 20 minutes waiting for the menu, I went away. Mi hanno fatto sedere nel dehor e si sono dimenticati di me. Dopo 20 minuti di attesa del menu me... More
