We dined on a Saturday evening! Reservations are suggested, we The atmosphere was very family oriented it seemed several locals were celebrating different events. We had excellent service! Our starter consisted of open shell scallops, served open in she'll and perfectly seasoned. For the main course I had Filet of Sole my colleagues shared the 'Arroz "de mercado" for two'... More

We were there on a Monday night and it was very quiet. We got excellent service with a small appetiser before the main course. We had a seafood paella that was very fresh and tasty with shrimps, fish etc. The house offered us a free dessert, a lovely cheesecake! I could highly recommend the place due to its excellent food... Sat outside on a warm evening. Service good and food very good. Had Galician cod fish empanada (pie) as a shared starter and Hake and monkfish as mains. The Hake was particularly good all washed down with a bottle of Alberino. Finished with two glasses (huge freepours) of 1866 and The Cardinal Spanish brandy. Service was good. All in all,... More

We waited 15 min before we got the drinks,, the startes came at diferent times, the time between the startes and main course took to long, the old lady was not friendly and food was average at best. ..order two things and they did not have it, first thing were the navajas and then the sardines..this supposed to be a... We were recommended by the hotel staff as this being the best seafood restaurant in downtown Vigo. Granted, we were told the real good ones were farther away. Anyhow the food was nothing special and the service was terrible. They kept pushing and pushing as to get you out of the place sooner than you really wanted. In fact, they... More

This restaurant was touted as a top spot. It didn't seem that way to me. The food was good, but certainly not remarkable. It is a very traditional restaurant, with good service, and good - but not outstanding - food

Used to come here as a child with my parents and seafood is still just as amazing. Service efficient. If you love seafood eat here - you will not find better. Good choice of wine and plenty of local ones too. Great to go back!

Perhaps the best seafood I had in Galicia. The place is fairly pricey, so we didn't have the higher-end stuff, but the stuff we did have was phenomenal. Gambas al ajillo was so tasty. The shrimp are small which was disappointing at first, but when you eat one: BOOM. The clams in green sauce were excellent. The grilled sardines are... More

It was the worst day to visit - a Monday evening in January, pouring with rain. I was the sole customer this night so the atmosphere could have been somewhat depressing had it not been for the delightfully amiable waitress (I don’t know her name) who very patiently talked me through the menu, severed me the dished and explained to... you will find there the best fish and seafood perfectly prepared. you will not be disappointed, as it is a sure bet. but it won't be cheap...though half the price than in Madrid for the same quality...
