After taking the trip up to the rock, we were all hungry. My friend was looking for fish and chips and we found Roy's. Upon arrival we sat outside and were promptly greeted by our server. Beers all around and when he came back to take our order, six orders of cod and chips went in. We watched several people... More

The fish and chips were delicious, portions were large and the curry sauce was awesome. You might struggle to get a table, which is a good sign of a great place to eat!

Arrives there just early afternoon so the place was crowded. We managed to find the last available table wgich was inside. I was prepared to wait because of the crowd but instead our waitress came right away. Ordered and as they make the fish fresh we did wait for our turn. But again our waitress informed us when our food... More

Fabulous service, with both Spanish and English speaking staff. Cod and chips highly recommended, huge portion of freshly cooked, crispy battered fish and hand cut chips. Visited Gibraltar for the day whilst on holiday in Spain and Was really missing a good old cup of British builders tea. Asked for a mug of PG tea and my request was happily... More

If you are visiting Gibraltar and long for fish and chips look no further, Roy's provide the best fish and chips around not only in Gibraltar but would also leave many in UK at the start. Great value and taste.

We decided to eat here when we visited Gibraltar, based on the reviews from Trip Advisor members - but we were both very disappointed with our meals. It was early evening when we arrived and there was no one else in the restaurant, so we sat outside - and waited ..... after a while someone finally came and took our... More

I was born in a fishing port in the northeast USA so I am a tough critic when it comes to fish, especially fish and chips. Liked the English style batter but the fish and the chips were just a little on the mushy side, not as crisp and light as I had expected. Could have just been an off... More

When in Gibraltar, this is the place for authentic British fish and chips. Most seats are outside but some are available inside nearby the kitchen where the fish are fried. If you are traveling as a couple, order one regular and share-there will be more than enough. The fish is fried to perfection and the chips are hot and crunchy.... More
