Loved the food! The pizza and pasta were just what we needed after walking around all day. The outside seating was also nice, although a bird pooped on my friend and the waitress seemed unphased and hurried us to order while my friend was trying to clean herself up.

Definitely the best pizza experienceI've ever had! Walked by it by chance at supper time and checked out the menu (English option). We ordered the pizza al Gusto, and we were informed they have a deal going on, 2 pizzas for the price of one, so we ordered al ananas as our second. Was ready in record time, and was... More

Being a great fan of Italian food, I can tell you that it is the best Italian food I enjoyed in Madrid. The waitress was always friendly and spoke good English. The price was very reasonable. I'll go back for sure.

Best location opposite the Museum. The food is just great and the staff is very friendly. Most waiters speak some English or kindly try. Large menu, lot to choose, but pasta is gorgeus and salads are also excellent. Price is ok, abot 15 pounds.

Went in to the first place we saw out of the rain and were pleasantly surprised. Food and wine were great.

My wife and I shared a Caesar Salad and a Pinocchio Pizza. A good place to relax after a long visit to the museum. Some outdoor seating. While the setting is nice, the food was average.

We went here for early evening nibbles and drinks on 2 nights and enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, while sitting outside watching the happenings in the square. The service was good and we found it to be a place we wanted to return to.

Nice and cozy pizzeria and trattoria just opossite the Reina Sofia Museum. Excelent views from its outside tables. We have been serving Italian homemade food for more than twenty years, and also Spanish specialities and drinks (sangria, tinto de verano, etc.). Our kitchen is open all day long, so you can have an early dinner or a late lunch.

Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
