Lets be clear, this place has only got good reviews because it's so cheap. Locals also only eat here because it's so cheap too most likely. The menu is far too big to be good at anything - my chips were cold and the rest...More

Really recomendable. Great typical homemade Spanish food in the centre of Madrid. Excellent menus for reasonable prices. We will repeat for sure.

Quality, authentic food, excellent service, old style decor, this place came recommended by a local and we were delighted, a great find in the heart of the city. Visited three times, very welcoming, homely atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Loved it!

We had dinner here last night, food was delicious! Be sure you're hungry as the portions are huge and the price is outstanding. Going back tonight for dinner. Also, go early as it gets busy fast.

If it had been a couple of years ago, I would have given it four stars. Homemade food at a medium price (menus of 14-16 euros) and more or less well cooked. But I think it's a typical business case that is dying of success....More

Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once

neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich
heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes
from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to
