We're taken to a back room where the tourists are 'held'. We try to speak Spanish and one of the party is fluent so there is no need, we are very happy to mingle with the locals, should they be here. Everything seems to be...More

We had a tasty seafood paella for two and enjoyed it very much. The food was definitely much better than some of the restaurants on the main tourist streets and the indoor seating was a respite from the noise and hustle outside. The food portions...More

We found this restaurant on trip advisor but was sadly disappointed. The pro's: The staff were friendly Potato croquettes Con's: Food quality on the whole Lamb! Don't choose this! There was no atmosphere whatsoever and the place is really dated.

Just popped in for a quick drink on a hot afternoon. Now we are on our third drink. Why? Every time we order a drink Free Tapas Comes. Total cost €20. Fabulous highly recommended.

Walked by and looked it up on trip advisor. Rated way too high. Small room with zero atmosphere. Paella was just ok. Croquette tasty but nothing special. Disappointing.

Small restaurant in central madrid offering decent inexpensive food. Do not expect refined dining but atmosphere is welcome and the waiters very helpful. A good eat without breaking the bank.

The casa bar area looked very nice, but two-three tall bar stool tables in the front were occupied. We were escorted to the back, which would represent Anton's living room as this is his casa. The menu we were presented was a package of starter+main...More

the best tapas in madrid, and we tried loads. Buy a Canas, 2 small beers and a mystery tapas for 3 euro, we had chilled muscles, paella. pasta arabiatta and potatoes in a wonderful garlic alioli. Amazing value.

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as
