Nice coffee, delicious cakes and friendly stuff. A little bit busy, sometimes hard to find seat.it's nice to find it open early on sundays.

This great place has both teas, coffees and lots of yummy pastries, but the thing we LOVED were their super smoothies made of pure fresh fruits and nothing else :-) Nice terrace outside to watch people and fabulous service, totally recommend !

A very nice, cozy and comfortable place in the heart of Salamanca. Perfect for breakfast or afternoon coffee. Very good food and pleasant staff and service. Prices are reasonable too.

We found this place walking around the district and it is a valid alternative for a quick stop while shopping.

we were here twice for a coffee-break. each time we also had sandwiches. the food is good. Tortilla sandwich and chicken-guacamole sandwich, all served with chips were really nice. Service was also good, especially an older waiter, who did not speak any English and still he was really friendly and helpful.

We have visited Cafe & Te in December to warm up little bit. We have ordered tropical smoothie but were surprised that it came full of ice (maybe in summer it is great idea) but in winter i would proposed to us yoghurt and milk. We had also crepes that were nice. Free wifi was little bit complicated to set... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
