We visited twice during a 5 day stay in Madrid. The place was small, cosy and the walls were covered in pictures. The first time we sat in the bar area and had a drink and some tapas. We did not encounter any problems with...More

I was strolling around in the neighborhood and went in for a glass of wine. The tapas seemed so nice that I had to order some and another glass of wine.

This restaurant is supposedly very good but we ate tapas in the bar and drank very good wine. The waiters are great fun and we really enjoyed the food.

This is a traditional place for tapas (founded 1827?), pretty active, open late at night… it's apparently cheap, but this is deceptive because portions are much smaller than elsewhere. Still, a decent place for a late (small) night snack, if you're nearby.
