With a good variety of healthy vegan and vegetarian food, this Madrid landmark is well worth a visit. Good prices and a friendly atmosphere make this a must visit for all those aversed to the consumption of dead (and live) animals! :)

I have discovered this place completely by accident while walking around the district. I had a lovely plate of ravioli. The waiter didn't really speak English, and it felt more than a beloved spot of locals, which was really nice.

Spanish vegetarian food, hard to find in Madrid, we were very happy with our meal from the fixed price menu at €13.50. Recommended.

This restaurant had no atmosphere, the waiter hardly spoke, made no attempt to engage and didn't smile. The food was tasteless and unimaginative. I've been a vegetarian for 50 years and this really didn't represent good vegetarian food in any way. I can't recommend it.

It was a nice find and good food. Their lunch menu is reasonable with a variety. It is good if you have time.

After struggling with Madrid's carnivorous attitude to food it was a delight to find Vegaviana, Our waitress was attentive and friendly and recommended a gorgeous red wine - we ended up having two bottles! The restaurant isn't too fancy but the food was really good...More

A great concept IMO - a vegetarian restaurant that has some chicken dishes for the non-vegetarians in a group. Vegetarian set menu at night was €13,50 for bread, starter, main and coffee or pudding. It was very good food at a very good price. My...More

Food medium quality, nothing special. We had the feeling the desert was from the supermarket, it was a pudding. The serve chicken dishes, which means it is not a veg restaurant. We won't come back.

This restaurant was recommended by out hotel staff when we told them that I would like to have a vegetarian dinner. Great variety of vegetarian dishes but also some chicken dishes for those not strictly vegetarians. The food was nice. I especially liked the lentil...More

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
