A typical modern Spanish bar/restaurant with good food and service. The price level is very attractive, not least considering its very good location.

Even If the menù was for tourist, it was the best that I've never eaten. Here we can taste the very Spanish food. 20€ main starter, dish of the day and dessert.

Booked via tripadvisor :) everything went ok. The decor is very warm and welcoming, the staff nice (but only one could speak english) and the food good too. The risotto is amazing, just try it.

8-9pm is pretty early for locals to dine out in Madrid (and most of Spain). We arrived around 8pm and the restaurant was pretty quiet but the food was good. After a while, groups/couples would enter the restaurant and the ambience picked up. The food was cooked well and service was prompt and friendly. Menus also available in English. Overall,... More

This restaurant looked the part and had a really nice menu. We were a group of 10 guys and all were looking forward to a good steak as this place was recommended as a great place for it.. When we eventually ordered which was about 40 minutes after arriving and not through want or trying the waiter came back and... More

Made reservations for a small special gathering for 5. Originally they were going to seat our party by two groups of tourists..loud students and chaperones. The place was empty so I asked to be moved so they could enjoy their time and we could enjoy ours. We were accommodated but I was surprised this was done as I called ahead.... More

Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
