I was there couple of times with friends, nice garden (if it is not cold) but nothing very special. They prices are really high compared to what they offer.

We had dinner on Saturday night at Fortuny restaurant with friends. The food was delicious, gluten free meals included. Very much appreciated. Nice people, good service. Then we move to the club and had a wonderful time dancing on Latino rythme the whole night. Ground floor is more casual and 20-30y old average, first floor but more classy 30-50y old... More

I had a lot of expectations about this experience when I received the invitation to go for lunch to this restaurant. We enjoy a closed menu, that it was tasty but not brilliant or something to remember more than other experiences. The place is nice and curious. The music it was so high during a lunch/dinner.

The outside atmosphere is my favorite in Madrid. Cold or hot - temperature is modified accordingly. Outside is more lounge music - inside varies between commercial house/techo and latin music. Its my favorite place to go dancing because at 2 or 3 they start playing latin music, latin pop, reggeaton, spanish pop, etc. It goes back and forth with commercial... More

One of the most arrogant and careless bar tenders I have ever experienced ... never had the impression to be welcomed as a guest at any time ... have been there twice, same attitude thus not a "one of a kind" experience ... took us 30 minutes to convince the bar tender to serve us even though place was empty... Great decor and atmosphere, both inside and outside the club. Lively with music vibe and party ambience. All were given little goodie bags upon entry and tokens for free drinks during the night.

We went to eat at the Fortuny with a group. Upstairs in the restaurant it's very small but it is okay. I found the food not that tasty. I had a big chunk of meat with much fat. The staff was friendly and the restaurant looks fine. But looking at the price/quality it's overpriced. After the dinner we went downstairs... More

Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
