Despite the usual struggle with the waiter not speaking English, we had a great time here. Neat, quality place and nice quick service. Definitely not a tourist trap. The english translation of the menu didn't help much so we were mostly guessing. Anyway the food was of very good quality. Pork in tomato sauce was too fat though. The house... More

We have been surprised by this small restaurant. All food ordered has been amazing, best gazpacho I ever had, the calamares en tomate dish was fresh and tasty, hummus with olive oil with a special taste as a proof that was prepared in that moment. Staff very friendly.

We initially had tapas / wine on the afternoon here, sitting at the small outside area. The house wine came as a good quality, then the excellent tapas arrived, fried cheese, salmon, olives etc. We found all to be of good quality. Therefore we booked a table for the evening, arriving around 2000 hrs. We opted for the restaurant's San... More

This restaurant is just off of Calle Mayor on Calle Cañón and worth the (very short) detour. There are a few tables outside, but it's much more interesting inside. The resto is clean—including the WCs—and seems well managed. Our waiter was helpful with the menu although not very comfortable with English (there is an English version of the menu, but... More

Had already eaten but was looking for a bar to have a drink, had seen this place advertised on TA so decided to try it. Very friendly service, good quality Rioja house wine, 2 bottles plus 4 glasses, one coffee and some bread/aioli Euro27, very good value. Although we did not eat the "menu del dia" looked very good and... More

We popped in for lunch and to escape the midday heat. We were welcomed and quickly shown to a table. We ordered a variety of tapas, a feat complicated by the presence of a coeliac in our party. However, the owner took great care to help us order safe food and we had a delicious meal. Part way through we... More

We spent an evening here sipping wine, sampling the tapas dishes and watching the activity n the pedestrian only street. The restaurant is very comfortable with a number of outdoor seats. A nice selection of tapas, reasonably priced and we enjoyed every dish we ordered. The waiter was busy but still had time to interact and took good care of... More

We had a really nice meal here al fresco, but if you really want to get the most out of Casa Cassiaro go inside. Has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are great.

We were the only people in this restaurant apart from one other couple. Service was good and waiter very friendly. Everything we ordered from the tapas came deep fried and it didn't say that on the menu (at least not on the English menu). We also ordered a pasta dish. The pasta seemed to be homemade which is good but... More

We were looking for some tapas and were hesitant about this place at first as it was so close to the 'tourist spots'. However once inside our fears were gone. Full of Spanish charm, friendly waiters, easy menu and a lovely atmosphere. We had four dishes to share (only downside is we did order 5, but only 4 came, the... More
