My fiancee and I visited La Utielana last September, during our first visit to lovely Valencia. As we went in, we noticed that the place was filled with locals and office workers, which in my opinion is always a good sign! We chose the lunch set menu and we were nicely surprised by how good the food was. We paid... More

This placed is very spanish with hardly any English spoken. However it is one of the few places left in Valencia if you are looking for typical spanish food.

If you are looking for home cooking and value for money this is the place to go. Have visited this restaurant for years while shopping in Valencia. The dishes are simple, but taste good. It can be a little difficult to find. So make sure you have good directions.

We visited on a suggestion from our VRBO owner. We heard it was a busy place so we showed up right at opening time. They were a little slow to warm up upon arrival but ended up being OK. The food was good but not superb. The restaurant decor was dated but the view into the active kitchen was a... More

We stumbled upon this place and were intrigued by the low prices and good reviews. The dishes tasted good, but were nothing special and kind of boring. The portions are like tapas and not full dinners. You probably need two dishes per person.

Excellent value for money. Love the food. The service and house wine were not that good but they could speak enough English to get our orders. Prawns fried with garlic were really tasty. Highly recommended restaurant if you can communicate in Spanish. Opening hours are terrible though.

Good food, grandma style, nice service and quick. I had chick peas soup and fried fish, I couldn't finish all.

Come here if you want the authentic Spanish food experience far away from the touristy places. Awesome food and even more incredible prices. 45€ for three with coffee and dessert. What a deal!

My group was brought here by a couple people who spend a lot of time in Valencia. They say its the best authentic Valencian restaurant in town. All of the food we had was delicious, and the prices are perfect so it's easy for people to share different dishes.
