A mediocre restaurant in a fairly touristy, but beautiful, spot. The food is just ok, not terrible, but also not great. I'm amazed at all the glowing reviews. I left half of my main course due to it being so underwhelming but did not complain. On being pushed for feedback I mentioned I found it amazing in Italy why in... More

Fantastic service. We had the smaller antipasto option followed by ravioli with a green bean sauce. Too full to consider secondo or dolce.

Went here last night after it was recommended by friends. It's quite a basic menu with a couple of steak dishes, wild boar, lamb and FOUR pork dishes. With a choice of just the two sides. I opted for the lamb, which comes in a bowl, seeded in broth and full of bones and I mean full of bones. It's... More

We don't recall whether the food was good at this restaurant but it wasn't memorable. Our waiter was very busy preparing the surrounding tables for the next day. He continuously bent over in our faces to pull fresh linens from the cabinet next to our table. This went on for our entire meal. He was aggressive from the moment we... More

The atmosphere at this osteria is very charming and the food was perfect! The pasta with cingali (boar) was an excellent choice. As well. the other three persons in my group felt the same way about their dishes. Service was prompt and professional. This was a great place to have lunch in a very charming town.

We went here on the recommendation from our hotel receptionist. She said it was her favorite. We were not disappointed. We had been traveling for 3 weeks and I have to say, this was one of our most enjoyable meals. The food was fresh and typical of Basilicata. The atmosphere is warm and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

We had lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best meals in a week of great dining. The atmosphere in the cave with candles was warm and inviting.

Do not let the unassuming outside entrance impact your decision to dine at Osteria Pico. Just past the entrance door you are transported into a wonderful, beautiful and atmospheric dining room. Perfect lighting, arches, stone walls, art, jazz softly playing all set the mood for a needed relaxing lunch break. Service was excellent, local pasta dishes we ordered were prepared... More

Four of us dined here last night. I found the restaurant on TA and it was recommended by our hotel. We were in a small alcove by ourselves, the waitstaff was efficient and friendly. We waited to order our entrees until we finished our appetizers because service was pretty quick. The local wines were good, the sample appetizers were plenty... More
