An exquisite restaurant in Hotel Miramalfi which is moments from Amalfi town centre, providing an incredible view into the calm sea. The vibe is incredible, a truly humbling experience with faultless service. Hotel Miramalfi staff are some of the best we’ve met anywhere in the...world, genuinely going the extra mile to assist even when we don’t ask. The food was stunning, inviting us to taste it with our eyes and then fulfilling every expectation. It’s a little pricey but for the sake of €5-10 cost for each three-course meal, it’s still well worth it.More

From the stool for my handbag to the descroptions of the food the service was exceptional. We had mixed seafood starter and i had moules and clams then we shared a salt baked sea breem with Mediterranean vegetables. It was the best fish we have...ever eaten. The view is breathtaking and we highly recommend.More

End October 2019: We were staying across the road from the Miramalfi Hotel and this restaurant was part of it. If you are a guest of their hotel you do get a discount on the meals, but we didn't. Nevertheless the staff from the front...desk to the waiters and hotel staff are just a pleasure to interact with. The restaurant is named after the retired hotel owner who resided over the place from 1956 to 2018. It is situated on a cliff edge overlooking the ocean and down into the town of Amalfi. About a 30minute walk down to town and a bit longer up or a set price of E20 if coming from town. This is a luxurious restaurant and yet it has no Michelin stars but should IMHO. You can sit inside and still get views or if it isn too hot or blowy sit on the balcony outside. My friend and I went twice once for dinner and once for lunch and I went back alone for lunch a third time, it was that good. Food: The portions of food are not large, are beautifully presented and ever so tasty but are very pricey. *Note the menu may have changed since we were there. Recommendations: Lunch: Seafood salad accompanied with an olive and lemon dressing - divine. Hazelnut tiramisu with a nut tuile was to die for [I had this dessert twice]. Potato with a small piece of succulent steak - my OMG meal! Chocolate mousse with a sesame tuile. Dinner: Red prawn carpaccio with dots of many types of sauces made it pop in so many ways in your mouth - just wonderful. Red prawn risotto had very little prawn in it and was way too lemony for my pallet, but I still ate it all! Lightly fried seafood - my least favourite meal, but still very good. Wines: all local and very nice, they even do wine tastings there. I'd dine here often if I lived local. Thanks for the great food and service.More

I did not stay at the hotel but I used the restaurant twice for evening meals. On both occasions I had a wonderful dining experience. The hotel seemed to be wonderfully organised, clean, pleasant and airy. I used the bar lounge for pre dinner drinks...and enjoyed the view of the town as the sun set and lights came on in Amalfi. The bar man was very knowledgeable and helpful; his job doesn't just stop at the bar but reaches out further for the customer. The dining room had two main areas - inside and outside. Both offered stunning views whilst the same high level of service was maintained throughout. The maitre'd was exceptionally charming and ensured that his staff carried through with his professional approach to service. My glass was never dry, I was asked if the food was ok and occasionally engaged in small talk. As for the food, there is a particular mantra that the restaurant follows as directed by the founder - I won't give that away here, you will just have to visit it yourself dear reader! However, suffice to say the food tasted wonderful, was beautifully presented and was certainly more than I was expecting even though I didn't know what to expect! For me, it just surpassed everything. I opted for inexpensive wines by the glass which were absolutely fine for my palate and my wallet. Obviously the whole experience was a personal thing but I would have no hesitation in going there again, perhaps not just to eat but also to stay in the hotel. I have ticked 'mid range' because I am not certain if this is mid range for the area, or indeed luxury. It could easily be the latter.More

Amazing food, specially the Bergamotto Risotto... My wife had the Eggplant Risotto and loved as well... If you are around, don't miss this place for Dio Mio :)!

We stayed here for a week, the Hotel Miramalfi. Seemed locals used the restaurant in the evenings. The service was a very high standard indeed. The food portions were at times small, but this is designer food at it's best. Expensive however.

We were lucky enough to be staying at the hotel when they had a set menu dinner on. Unbelievable range of seafood antipasto/buffet inc. oysters, shellfish, smoked salmon (beautiful flavour), octopus. Also included local buffalo mozzarella and tomato’s, and gorgeous cured meats. Followed by a...perfect prawn and peach risotto, then a hand made ravioli pasta ‘in a summer style’ with a tomato foam that was amazing. Baby pig with accompaniments was for me the stand out. Finishing with a wild strawberry tiramisu. Menu attached for details. All paired with wine (grown up serves - not just tastes). The service matched the food in its excellence. Unfortunately neither could compete with the view as they we’re making a movie in the bay approx 500m from our table. A most surreal experience beyond a lot of what my life has been - so far.More

We found this restaurant at the end of a 6 day visit to Amalfi and had dined at many of the restaurants down in Amalfi. This was an exciting find given that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the town but with...fantastic views of the Amalfi coastline from the bar and restaurant which has panoramic views. Be sure to book a table to get the best views. Excellent service was provided by all staff. We arrived early to have a drink at the bar first and to enjoy the view outside. The restaurant opens at 7pm. Food was excellent and we were offered a great amuse bouche. I ordered a main dish of smoked fish (I don’t recall the name of the fish as it was unfamiliar to me). It came with its own magic show and a glass capsule of smoke which was unveiled by our waiter to reveal my plate and food. My husband ordered a steak and said it was cooked to perfection.More

The raw seafood dishes we had in this restaurant were amazing, so was the main of grilled seafood and the white wine produced in Amalfo. Highly recommend

We visited Miramalfi during our stay in Amalfi, as it was located just down the road from our hotel. I had the lamb main and my boyfriend had the beef. Both were delicious. The portions were quite small but this was a welcome change for...us after lots of pizza and pasta in the restaurants in town. We then had dessert and both were well presented and very tasty. The lovely view of Amalfi town was the icing on the cake for us at Miramalfi.More
