Great local dishes, for a decent price. The restaurant is located in a little square just off the main street and therefore much quieter and less chaotic. All the restaurants in this little square are a 1000 times better then the ones on the main square so don’t get caught in the tourist traps. We had 2 sorts of bruschetta(Napolitana & one with prosciutto and cheese) as a starter, which were decently sized, generously topped and very tasteful. As a main we had the cannelloni and the ravioli with shrimps, both absolutely fantastic dishes. We drank a few beers, 2 espresso and got free limoncello and the total bill was just under €60, so all in all great food for a fairly moderate price.

We kind of stumbled across this lovely little place hidden in a square off the beaten track with 3 or 4 other restaurants. When we walked passed it was empty but 30 mins later the team literally created a table for us to eat it was that popular! Ordered pizzas, as you do in Italy, and we were not disappointed. Large and flavoursome with a good selection of toppings. Service generally was good though we never got asked if we wanted another drink or if we wanted desserts which was a shame and lost them a point as otherwise would have been a 5 star review.

We enjoyed our meal at this restaurant- my lemon and prawn risotto was delicious. We struggled a bit to find a meal our daughter could eat, it didn't seem possible to have a plain piece of meat and she refused to touch the piece of rose veal that came out drenched in lemon sauce...! My son enjoyed his lasagne and my husband enjoyed his calamari (thankfully my daughter liked eating the crispy tentacles!). The bruschetta and melon with prosciutto were very nice, our children enjoyed those as well as us. Easy to find in the centre of Amalfi. Took a little while to get the bill, but overall, a nice meal.

I would not recommend this restaurant at all - the portions are very small and the food is not fresh, very disappointing experience. I tried salad with mozzarella and it was terrible- tiny portion, tomatoes are not tasty and mozzarella not fresh. I have also tried grilled fish (I have never seen such a small sea bass!), which was burnt and dry. I suspect it was frozen and cooked well in advance before being served.

Dear lady, when you go to eat in a restaurant and you are hungry everyone should order a course and not order a single course to be divided in two hoping to be satisfied and save on the bill. A sea bass cannot be the size of a shark. I would also like to point out that in our restaurant only fresh food is used: both fish and mozzarella are bought twice in one day

Best Tagliatelle Bolognese I have ever eaten! Loved them and I totally recommend them! My parents ate Pizza Capriciossa, which was the best pizza we have ate in Italy in one week in Italy. Totally recommend. Best restraurant yet. Staff also really nice.

Food was ok, but the tomatoes for the caprese for example did not taste as good in comparison to others we had in Italy. Also for our taste, the melanzane was a bit too cheesy and the pasta was too oily. However, the portions were big and the staff very friendly.

Amazing food but let down by a terrible waiter… first the good part. This was probably one of the best tasting meals we’ve had in Italy. The lemon shrimp risotto was amazing, as was the seafood pasta. Now onto the bad… what a rude young waiter they have there. He is absolutely ruining this lovely establishment. Short blonde hair, tattoo behind his ear. Blunt, impatient, really made us feel like we had come to the wrong place. Hence we gave it a 3/5 and hopefully the service improves so we can come back and sample more of the amazing food.

Food was average or even below average. The starter was too simple, anyone could prepare such a bruschetta, and the pasta bolognese had the taste of a pre-made dinner from a package. Not bad, but there are better places out there. Staff was friendly!

The restaurant is situated in the square of Dogi, a pretty small square close to the monumental complex of Saint Andrew! The chef takes great care in selecting the best quality of ingredients. The restaurant is small and cozy. The service accompany the high quality of cooking. I highly recommend going to La Piazzetta restaurant

Excellent restaurant, fantastic service and staff. We were seated in a lovely outdoor table under shade as temperatures were in the late 30's. We have beautiful salads, homemade spaghetti bolognese and a seafood spaghetti with loads of mixed seafoods - tasted of the tea. We had wine and sparkling waters plus double espressos before leaving. €69 plus a tip - very much worth it, well done La Piazetta

Not recommend for Russian It is very horrible to write but we had very weird experience with nationalism in this restaurant. We came to the restaurant for dinner. We were big company (50% are Ukrainians, 50% are Russians). The food was nice BUT at the end waiter ask who are from Russia. Then he brought lemonchello like a compliment from restaurant (this compliment always make in every restaurant in Amalfy) to ukrainians and told “not for Russians sorry” Absolutely disappointed, our Ukrainians friends were totally upset. We wrote to the official email but no one still not answer.

Best Arabiata I've ever had. Other dishes were also great. Staff were friendly and really helpful in juggling tables to fi d us some space. We sat in the sun for ages enjoying the food, wine and passing life - no pressure from the staff to give up the table.

Lovely place in the heart of Amalfi. The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing. We ordered a Tagliatelle Bolognese and it was great but the star of the evening was the “Linguine con limone della Divina Costiera”: Espectacular!!

We sent 5 days in Amalfi and we finally ended to eat always in the same restaurant, La Piazzetta. The food was excellent, the service professional and friendly and the owner a very nice person. I fallen in love with their pasta Linguine al Limone. Looking forward to go back seating in the square and enjoy again they superb Linguine al limone.

Nice location but there isn't much atmosphere and the service was polite but not particularly friendly, a bit impersonal. It seems like a place more for tourists and not for locals. My family enjoyed their pasta. My bruscetta lacked flavour. There didn't appear to be any garlic or herbs and very little oil. A bit like chopped tomatoes on toast.
