We were early to arrive. Beautiful day and we wanted to sit in the sun. The waiter had a bit of a chop on his shoulder and didn't want to seat us in the sun but we persevered. The waiter definitely had an attitude but as we tried to communicate he warmed up. Ok waiter aside. Let's talk food. The... More

Let's clarify how to get this restaurant for starters. You can only get here by boat. This will usually be part of a boat tour or you can catch the dedicated boat to the restaurant from the Amalfi pier. Transit from Amalfi pier will take about 15 minutes. We did this as part of our private boat tour with Blue... More

Someone trashed this place a few days before our visit. Either they changed staff/ownership over that period of time or the other reviewer just caught a bad day. We found the place to be accommodating and the food to be excellent. I had some of the tastiest risotto in my entire visit to Italy and the portions were fine. We... More

We went there by boat. The place was full. Service was horrible. 3 tables that came after us, got their food before us. Finally our food came. The octopus was hardly grilled with no seasoning (disgusting). Myself and another person ordered the shrimp risotto. While the taste was good, we think they forgot to prepare 2 risottos and split the... More

We were on a boat trip to Amalfi and asked if we would like to come back to this restaurant on the beach for lunch, it looked nice from the boat and our skipper said the food was very good so we came back. We were not seated so just took a table of our own back, it took a... More

My boyfriend were out of a paddle boat and decided to stop in somewhere for a drink. We had walked to the restaurant and told the owner at the door (to the empty restaurant) were interested in having a drink, possibly an appetizer. He had sat us down near the water. We browsed the expensive prices and frozen fish menu... More

Our hosts at the Villa Edda recommended this place to us and called ahead to reserve two chaise longues for the day. There is a private boat that picks you up from the quai in Amalfi. The restaurant itself caters to many others who arrive on their own boats. The pastas are excellent, and yes, some of the fish on... More

My wife and I were on a Venice, Naples, Capri and Amalfi trip. And Da Teresa was one of two restaurants that we would say was hands-down the best experience overall throughout our trip. The restaurant provides a free boat transport from Amalfi to the Santa Croce beach (~10 mins), which in itself was very nice and enjoyable boat ride.... More

Our family of 4 dined here yesterday. We learned about it from an Italian young man who I sat next to on the plane trip into Napoli. The only way to get to the restaurant is by boat. You get picked up in Amalfi at one of the piers. The boat ride is about 10-15 minutes. We were early for... More

I would recommend this gem of a restaurant on a hot day for a relaxing break from sight seeing. My family and I made a reservation for an afternoon lunch at 1:00 but arrived on the property at 11:00. The restaurant is only accessible by boat which picked us up at a the main port in Almalfi. We wore our... More
