We have been to many restaurants in Southern Italy over the past five years (we have traveled throughout Campania and Basilicata 10 to 15 days per year). Osteria del Taglio is unlike many of the rustic settings at which we have dined. It is newly renovated. It features a bright and cheerful setting. The restaurants features a three course "chef... Ive been to this restaurant with my friend. We are in salerno for already 7 weeks. The restaurant is freshly renovated and in the underground (cellar). You can look in the kitchen and see how theyre preparing your food. The pasta is selfmade! We both had the degustations-menu and it was delicious! You have to know, the plates are really... More

We went with my husband and our child to this restaurant. Had the best talgiata of my life and my husband had wild sea bass as a main course. Gastronomic experience. Top notch ingredients. Great location, though hidden in a tiny street in the old centre of Salerno. Loved it

We were there for a dinner and it was great experience! The service was perfect and the people (the kitchen crew also) are so friendly! We enjoyed a 3-Course-Menu and the food was simply delicious! My wife and I are used to eat in very good restaurants. Unfortunately in Italy a lot of the restaurants are only on a touristic... More

This tiny restaurant in a little street in the center of Salerno, not far from the Duomo, is absolutely wonderful. For a primi, I had a delicious "chitarra" pasta with tartufo nero (black truffles), The chef brought out the full black truffle for me to admire and smell. The pasta itself was made from scratch right in front of us... More

This little 8 table restaurant is tucked in on a quiet side street in the town centre. You enter and come down a few steps to a fresh green and white dining room. It had a nice clean modern feel but was warm and friendly. Wines are lined along the walls and we felt like we had some interesting well... More

We had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Angolo Masuccio two times during our most recent visit to Salerno! We enjoyed the freshest mussels and octopus we have had throughout Italy! The service is the very best, and the wine suggestions were fantastico! If you want to enjoy a relaxing, delicious & genuine Italian meal, visit Osteria. Marjorie Lee and... More
