The moment I walked in, I got a weird vibe. When I sat down, the waiter took my order and brought me the wine, he forgot the glass and seemed irritated when I tried to get his attention to ask for one. My starter arrived, to be honest, it was mediocre, fried mozzarella, the coating was thick and it was... More

This is a bustley trattoria serving generous portions of traditional Neapolitan food. We had a great time eating far too much food. It's not a place to linger, but none the worse for that.

We were there for lunch and although they were there, and it was technically supposed to be open, they had us waiting outside. The food is good, it's a local trattoria. The pasta was quite good but not as outstanding as in other places in Napoli.

Except for fried zucchini flower, the food was below average. Waiter tried to up-sell too much and then demanded we give up the table after only finishing half of our bottle of wine (under an hour). Given how good the food is in Naples, go elsewhere.

We went here for dinner and were sat in the second dinning room with a large group of young loud students... the food quality was terrible! I am sure my pasta came from a tin! It was so appealing we left the whole meal on our plates! This is not Italian food by any standards! Avoid! There are much better... More

We took all the starters and share same - and they were really good - except the octopus which we presume did not tickle our taste buds by reason of the fact that we are not used to eating this creature. The seafood pasta was really only spaghetti with incredibly small clams and some sand was present in the dish... More

We tired meals with seafood. THey were good, house wine was good too. Prices are reasonable. Place is small so youll need to wait or make a reservation.

La Campagnola doesn't offer a very large menu. They serve mainly seafood. We ordered two appetizers: vongole soute and a octopus with olive oil. Both very tasty! Next my boyfriend decided to try the paccheri with chickpeas and calamari and I ordered the spaghetti with seafood. He received his paccheri which were an interesting combination of ingredients and really tasty.... More

This restaurant is in the middle of the city centre and there are loads of foreigners eating there, however Napoli being Napoli you can eat at a reasonable price (around 9 or 10 euros for a main). Waiters speak several languages and the service is very good. I would like to highlight the primi piatti (first main dishes, mostly pasta)... More
