I wouldn't call it a tourist trap per se, plenty of locals in there (well in the main restaurant not the Siberia where we were deposited), but as tourists we were trapped at a meal that for some of our group didn't materialize at all, for others came in one dump after about 10 minutes and for others took 90... It is a small, traditional restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Workers are friendly. Menu is rich with sea food, pasta and pizza plates and also some mediterranean meals. Prices are not very high. If you are going to eat as a group of people with different choices to eat the place is one of the good options.

This restaurant comes highly recommended in the Michelin guide and I can see why. The food is authentic Neapolitan fare, the antipasti was particularly impressive as were the Campania wines. The interior of the restaurant is quintessentially Italian and traditional. The restaurant on the Monday evening in October when we visited was packed with locals and there were only 4... More

After a couple of days in Naples you are aching to find a place that doesn't focus on pizza. This was it. A great family run restaurant with interesting food. I had sea bream with a layer of thin sliced potatoes on top and delicious courgettes with peppers. Good atmosphere. Only criticism was bright lighting which spoiled the ambience.

I was only going to be in Naples for not even 24 hours, as this place is the birthplace of the modern pizza, I needed to try to some of the best available. Of course I did my research and all the usual places came up, however, I didn't want to travel very far from my hotel as time was... More

Of course ,being Naples, amous for seafood, but a large menu with other items-pasta, etc. Paneled walls, red checked table cloths, lots of photos and paintings around, with the owner very much present and being sure things are being done correctly. Good friendly service. A place clearly has a regular clientele, but even though we were tourists, we were treated very well.

Overpriced, no flavors, no spices (not even salt and pepper), cold food, small portions. Good wine though.

This is a quality establishment. Attentive, friendly and professional service. Good range of food - all good, entirely reliable - I really liked the seafood antipasto misto. Caprese was good too. Macaroni Genovese was to die for. Great Campania wines at decent prices. As authentic as they come. Puddings (ice cream etc) slightly disappointing. But overall I really rate it.... More

I went for dinner after being recommended by our hotel. The experience was ok at best. I had the milanese chicken with fries (I.e. fried potatoes). It didn't have much flavor to me. It was average tasting and seemed a bit pricey for what you got (I.e. 12 euros). I was also not happy that I was charged a service... More
