Stumbled across this place after wandering around the busy streets in the evening. Greeted by a very friendly waiter who recommended two lovely glasses of red wine, grazed over dinner on mozzarella (so good), salami and variety of breads. Finished with Tiramisu and cheesecake - all desserts are made in house and distributed to hotels amongst the city. Great find.... More

We ate at Il Brillo Parlante yesterday night, and I couldn't wait to write this review! We went there after my parents have eaten two times in a raw last year. They ve told us the best, and it's true. First of all, it is super easy to reach. After Piazza di Popollo, you find Via de Corso and the... More

Small restaurant on a side street with outdoor seating. Great negroni, nice salumi, good pizza and wine selection; friendly and efficient service, reasonably priced for the centre of Roma.

There are sooo many restaurants in Rome and in most of them we had excellent food. Il Brillo Parlante was on of them. All the plates were good and no complain. Would eat again

So many restaurants in Rome are very average and touristy- this was an exception, it is quaint and it felt very authentic. Great atmosphere, food and staff and for a reasonable price. One of the best restaurants we went to when in Rome

We stopped here for lunch. We had good service and great food. My sister had a salad and I had an appetizer portion of eggplant Parmesan. We then shared a pizza and finished with a panna cotta. All were wonderful! We will try to return before we leave Rome. A wonderful experience!

It was a great lunch break on our way from piazza del Popolo to piazza di Spagna. Excellent food, we tried fettuccine al ragu, pizza sei formaggi, pizza margherita, salad Brillo and another salad with spinach and taleggio sauce. Service was fast and kind. Wine was very good as well. We warmly recommend the place!

After a hot time of touring in this area we found this quaint restaurant/wine bar off the main square. We sat outside in the shade on a quiet street. The server, Islam helped us select our menu choices explaining the special. There were 4 of us .2 ordered the special which was advertised on a board outside the restaurant. We... More
