As many other contruibutors said the food quality is nice, the buffet offer many different kind of yummy "antipasti". I work no far from there and i get there other times for business but last time i went there i got a scam on the price that is ridicolous for a restaurant that pretend to be at this level: 2... I have known La Cascina for long time. This restaurant has a long history, I went there first time long before I even started using TA. This is the first time I write a review about it and I want this to be more of a summary of all the previous experiences and an overall personal feedback about the restaurant.... More

I ate lunch here with friends. There is an extensive buffet offering a good selection of both hot and chilled dishes, all of which seemed very fresh. However the vegetables, roast potatoes and spinach, ordered afterwards were not particularly good. Desserts were spectacular. Service was good

This classic Italian restaurant is something of an institution, having hosted several movie stars and directors thrifty the years, given its location just next to CineCitta. I doubt we would have come across La Cascina of our own accord - we were treated there by Roman colleagues. An old school restaurant in look and feel, with great Italian flavor.

Being on the outskirts of Rome and thus not designed to “serve” the tourist this very authentic Italian restaurant, delivers very decent quality food, with nice portions at a very fair price. If you happen to be in the vicinity, it is recommended to give it a try

Very big restaurant, very italian, I didn't meet any other tourists there, so it felt very authentic. I enjoyed a Risotto alla Pescatore. It was deliciously cooked.

The place is supposed to be well known to the local business community and perhaps the information I had before raised my expectation before arrival. I have been there on a business lunch and must say it is average, was expecting a more attentive service. All in all, the pasta was well done, the meat was properly cooked, however my... More

We were one a Globus tour and had the choice of eating free in the hotel (because dinner was included that night) or go out on our own. My wife and I went out and found La Cascina, a short walk from our hotel. Great place and affordable. After we went across the street and had a Gelato and walked... More
