This is another place we visited three year ago and wanted to come back. The restaurant exudes sort of a old fashion atmosphere with pictures and posters of Italian movies and stars on the walls. It's a very busy place, full of locals. The menu is very extensive and you'll surely find something to satisfy your appetite and tastebuds. The... More

Friendly staff, English speaking. Food is good, and the price more than decent. We had pizza and pasta, all good. It gets crowded but it's just a nice Roman atmosphere.

We had a lovely meal here, five friends. The service was helpful and cheerful. A highlight for me was the delicious pasta and the truffles in gelato are not to be missed! A minor point was food arriving early and at different times but still a very pleasant meal.

Very fresh, well prepared pastas and the best, thin crust pizza in the area of Campo de Fiori. Very friendly service even with large groups.

Hidden in quiet Balestrari street, close to Campo de' Fiori and away from it's busy, you will find a place with just a few tables outside, always full of locals eating there. Ai Balestrari seemed a good choice. Don't look further, try cripsy pizza coming from a wood burning oven and enjoy Italian cuisine.

Pizza was good. Pasta ok, but nothing special. A bit on the "expensive" side, copperto of 2€ per person. Service average.

Enjoyed the place and the food for both of us. Try pizza verdure and ask for their natural viagra. Their spaghetti matriciana was delicious.

I come here every time I am in Rome for the delicious Cacio e Pepe pasta. The bruschetta is also delicious.

We had a wonderful meal at Ai Balestrari. This is perfect restaurant to get a nice family Italian vibe. The pizzas were incredible, but the deep fried sage leaves were even better! the staff was very helpful and friendly and overall the meal was not too pricy.
