We have visited many Italian restaurants, this restaurant certainly offers the best, authentic Italian cuisine and service we have ever experienced. We went for dinner and came back the next day for dinner as well. Mario was excellent in recommending cuisine and wines - which we thoroughly enjoyed. Their pizza from the wood fired stone oven is beyond - the... More

Dear Jan-Hein B, We thank you for the nice review made by people who have been able to taste our homemade pasta dishes by Mario. Next time, we will have other genuine dishes from my grandmother and my father who have been handed over to us for more than four generations. Thanks and a greeting for a good trip Mario... More

Was our last night in Italy and the restaurant was close to our hotel so we gave it a try based on TripAdvisor reviews. The food was pretty good, but the bill left a bad taste in our mouth, especially since it was our last meal in Italy. They charged us 1.50 euros per person for bread (or cover charge)... More

Stumbled across this restaurant whilst looking for somewhere to eat. Pleased we did, as it was delicious! The gnocchi was the best we've ever had! Would recommend!

Exceeded expectation on all fronts. Would preferred to be given menu. Fresh fish pushed, however excellent quality for those who like seafood.

It's quite close to the hotel I stayed. Asked the hotel receptionist if they can recommend some place nice but not too touristy. They suggested this place and it doesn't disappoint me. The menu is extensive and we can see loads locals coming to dine there - it's a good sign :) For starters, I would recommend the octopus -... More

We came in here because the restaurant of our choice was closed. And we are very satisfied. Good food, prepared quickly. Moderate prices. Perhaps we could make better choice of wine, but it is not restaurants failure. Nice place. We can come here next time in Rome

I highly recommend this restaurant. It was recommended by our hotel as a good place for my family (2 and 3 year old children) and they were completely correct. The pasta was very good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a very nice lunch here and will probably return on our next trip to Rome.

Great food. The linguine with egg plant is to die for. Even the mozzarella on the pizza was good. A great variety for those who don't eat meat. Great value as well, but being honest. Price isn't my driver quality is. 10 out of 10.

We ordered from both the regular menu and also off the seafood cart that, we observed, was heavily pushed to foreigners. While the food was prepared well and met our expectation for this type of restaurant, the fish was overpriced. Instead of 40-50€ that you would pay at similar establishments around town, we were surprised when we received the bill... More

During my short stay in Rome, I went 3 times this restaurant. Pasta is so so much delicious that I ever had. Highly recommend. First night I ate pasta zucchini. Second night I ate lobster pasta, wow, cannot forget. Third night I ate seafood pasta, wow, again, so juicy and yummy, my God. Fair price, good service, nice people, really... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
