The wife and I we drop casually after been at the cemetery and we like the place at start. The food was cooked as at home. No microwave oven , friendly place and the price half the cost to eat in downtown ( al centro ).

We passed this restaurant while on a sight seeing walk in the area. Great food and the helpful staff made us at ease while we ordered lunch. Lovely fresh products and great coffee. Worth a drop in here if you are in the area.

Lovely place! Very friendly personel. We don't speak much Italian but they were eager to help! The tiramisu is the best one I ever had!

we ordered red wine (7 euros) but we have been told by the waiter that only the white wine costs 7 euros, the red wine costs 9 euros. But as you may guess, the menu doesn't note this exeption! As it concerns the other dishes; the prosciutto pizza was good, the carbonara spaggheti was nice and the fried mozzarela was... More

Eccellente ristorante. Ottimi cibi e personale cordiale e discreto. Cucina romana, ma anche ottima pizza. Excellent restaurant, especially if you love Roman's cooking! Superb dishes, friendly people and, if you prefer it, wonderful pizza.

Our apartment owner recommended this restaurant to us for it's great stone baked pizzas, me and my boyfriend decided to try it out. We were waited on by Andreá, he gave the most amazing and attentive service and was very interested in our stay in Rome. We ordered pizzas, sides and drinks, all of which came to under 30 euros!... This is a nice Italian restaurant in San Lorenzo, Rome with a great ambience. Service was great and choices were many to make from. We went there twice during our stay!

It used to be a decent place, but now service and food quality have gotten worse. Furthermore if you go on an weekend you will have to wait for ages as they try to fill every possible table. If youare two forget they will give you a table for three. Happened sevral times and are extremely unpolite on this point.... More

Bad service, oily food (really oily), a kind of decaying place. House's wine is terrible. And is an expensive restaurant.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
