If you want just basic Roman dishes that are excellent along with good service, Pecorino’s is it. The owners are there with the staff and patrons and the locals are there too. This is not a tourist place. Pricing is very good. The wines are...More

This restaurant feels like a traditional trattoria, and we really enjoyed eating here. I had the oxtail, which was delicious and very tender, and my wife had fettuccine with pancetta and ewe's cheese, which she loved. Very friendly service, and overall a lovely experience.

We came here by chance with some swiss and american friends, as we wanted them to taste a real good pasta plate. Well the carbonara was superb. I enjoyed it very much (and I'm a real roman guy). Our guests enjoyed it as well. The...More

We really enjoyed our evening at this restaurant. We met with Italian friends who live in Rome who had recommended it for a traditional Italian meal. The food was incredible! Reasonable prices. Quiet ambience. Staff were friendly. The cook even handed my husband a tray...More

Traditional Italian fare opposite the Testaccio Macro art gallery, (formerly Rome's abattoir) - emphasis on meat dishes as beholds this area. Good service, location and food.

Simple and yet delicious, this restaurant offers typical Roman cuisine starting from primo (pasta) and secondo (meat). In winter they serve pear cooked in wine, a must try. My fav in this restaurant is the spaghetti alla carbonara.

Great Cacio e Pepe pasta. A good place in Testaccio area of Rome that is NOT a tourist trap. The prices are comparable in Rome. Good service and local Roman dishes. Just to go try the local cacio e Pepe or Amatricana Roman dishes. Located...More

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class

every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
hit, the area is full of locally owned small
