Apparently the kitchen was closed because of the weather. (Perfect weather, 23 degrees). Needed to pay 10 euro's for 2 drinks, Well fine to this point. Paid by card (12 euros), then the hostess pretended the machine wasn't working and made us pay cash. Unfortunately I noticed there's been a 10 euro's transfer from by bank account as Well. No... We chose this restaurant because of its location with rooftop views at the top of the Spanish steps - this was it's only redeeming feature. The staff we very dis-interested in serving us - the prawn and avocado salad I chose was very small and not worth 16 euros. Over priced and underwhelming - you have been warned!

Above the Spanish Steps between there and Piazza Popolo is a lovely setting for lunch or dinner, or drinks. We've been there a couple of times, and both lunch and dinner service (and attitude by the staff) were truly enjoyable.

The position of the restaurant is really good and the service is alright. One thing that I didn't like is that the waiters would just put things on our table without asking us for example bread. I do not eat bread. This annoyed me because they where asking all the other tables (especially Italians) and in the end we had... More

This little restaurant is located near the top side of the Spanish Steps. The atmosphere and ambiance provide a great backdrop for great service and great food.

Our waitress, (i have forgotten her name but she had short blonde hair) was lovely we even had a few laughs with her and she... More

I haven't had a meal here, but several times an aperitivo at the bar. Always served with delicious sandwiches, mini-pizzas etc. When I think of Aperol Spritz, I think of this place. Very nice atmosphere.

Having climbed the Spanish Steps on a warm day, we wandered along the Viale Trinita dei Monte at the top. There we found, by chance, Ciampini. It was just after 12.00 and perhaps early for lunch, but the restaurant looked welcoming, so in we went, five of us. What a lucky discovery. We were warmly welcomed and seated outside. The... More

My mom, two kids, and I ate here for my birthday while visiting Rome. We stumbled across it while visiting the Spanish Steps, and I thought the ambience was perfect for a special dinner. It did not disappoint! The scenery/view was great, the food delicious, and the service exceptional! There was a small pool with turtles in it that my... More

We recently had our luch on the terrace of this restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was very very good. The price was right for the service offered. On my next visit to Rome I will have no doubt in returning here.
