We stay in the Prati area of Rome when we visit. We've been coming to Pizzeria San Marco for many years now and wish we had known about this exceptional pizzeria long before we began staying near it. The staff is kind and engaged with...More

We actually chose to eat there twice in 6 days. Service was very good, food sensational. Not one of those tourist traps where you get charged a service fee for every change of crockery.

The name of this restaurant is misleading . . . it is more than just a pizza place! They have an extensive menu and the prices are about average for Rome. We ate dinner here twice during our week in Rome. We never had pizza...More

Family gathering in Rome of 12 persons. Wonderful experience with great food. I had the pasta bean soup which was outstanding. My wife shared her fish cooked in potato breading, wonderful. All entrees were good. Moderately priced and attentive service.

Ate here almost four years ago, nothing has changed. Still extremely busy - went for lunch one day and had pizzas - as good as any we had on our trip. Next evening we returned for dinner - salad, steak and fries. Everything was quite...More

Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
