I had a very generous caprice salad and a very tasty pizza. Friendly and helpful service with a nice area to eat. Very passable.

Food fine, but all tables in light entrance area by tv were "reserved"...all of them...led to dark room at back which was empty, finally given somewhere half way. Clientele middle-aged to elderly looking at mobiles.

Everything we ordered was excellent. Not just excellent, they were normal portion sizes as well. The pizzas were so good. Thin crusted, so light, so delicious. The salads were also substantial with fresh cheese in them. The pastas with pesto, tomato sauce etc I were all also freshly made with fresh sauces. We dined almost 5 times in the 4... More

San Marco has really great Italian pizza (it is not American pizza) and calzone's. It is one of the few restaurants in Rome that I have found to make calzone. The service is very friendly and they speak multiple languages with menus to match.

This was a nice restaurant in a quieter area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are a range of restaurants along this road including Hard Rock Cafe. We needed pasta to load the carbs ready for marathon day, we shared a starter and each had a pasta dish for our main course. We also had a... More

Decent, not very crowded at 8 on a Tuesday so might not be popular with locals, which may not be a good sign. Calzone and salad, both good but nothing special. Same with service.

This restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel. Had a pizza to start which was fantastic but the highlight was the pasta, best pasta we have had so far in Italy and the service was great also. Reasonably priced. Desert was also really good

We had a late lunch here today and it was a great choice. We arrived after the lunchtime rush and were found a seat quickly. Despite being run off their feet, the service and welcome was spot on. I had a red pizza - this was one if the best pizzas I've ever had. Loved it. Tastiest mushrooms and Italian... More

Without doubt the best pizza/pasta restaurant I've have to. Perfect in every sense, spotlessly clean, excellent service, excellent menu choice, fantastic quality. Would definitely come back here.

We had 2 pizzas, rigatoni, lasagna, 3 cokes, 2 crème brulees under 80 euros. White pizza with Italian sausage and mushroom, out of this world! Best crust and cooked to perfection. Ambiance is nice, had outside seating with blankets and heating. Wines from every corner of the globe! Amazing! Many locals dining here.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
