I got in to a cab and ask the taxi driver to take me to a local place to eat where he goes. Near the Vatican he brought me to these place... is the best kept secret in town... the service is unique... they are loud singing, and screaming to each other.... very Italian... the food is excellent. You will walk pass this one. Nothing inviting. Had my pizza the way I like it, thin, crispy, simple and delicious. Dino, one of the owners, and his team are loud, animated and theatrical! Dino breaks out in song! And when he writes the bill from memory he talks to himself and screams when he makes a mistake! No one speaks... More

We have tried several restaurant in Rome and this was the best in terms of food (fine italian taste) and italian experience. It is a family owned restaurant extremely cosy with a very nice atmosphere! The prices are ok comparing to other restaurants in Rome.

For me and my family it was one of the best experiences in Rome. At first, it's not a touristic place, so the food is perfect!!! And the owners are fantastic, very kind and funny, they make us feel at home, but in a typical italian home!!! Forget the menu and let them bring you what they want, it's awesome!!!

We happened upon here right after they opened for the evening and stopped in for a meal. All trip we had delicious food, but Dino & Tony put everywhere else in second place. There was a menu, but nobody used it. Dino and Tony came through asking if you wanted antipasto (starters), pasta, and then carne or pesce (meat or... More

We had a large group of 15 people spending a week in Italy and wanted a special place to eat "like the locals" on our last night in town. We made reservations and upon our arrival we were immediately seated and the action began. We were served a full five course meal: wine, aperitivo, antipasta, primo, secondo, insalata, dolce, dessert... More

Although recommended in a guide book this seems not well known to tourists yet, and it was frequented mostly by locals. Friendly brothers own it and enjoyed a bit of banter with us throughout. Some of us had delicious spaghetti alle vonghele and others grilled fish, washed down with house white. For dessert we had the recommended Granita al Caffé... More

This place is a hoot! From the outside, there was no evidence that the place was still in business. Thank heavens we tried the door. There is absolutely no attempt at ambiance and as far as I can tell, Dino and Toni don’t speak English. You come in, they sit you down at very closely spaced tables, the waiter (not... More

Superb! A true Roman experience you should make sure to include during your visit to Rome. Expect good wine, excellent and abundant food, Roman sound and best of all such reasonable price. Don't miss out on a fun place.

This is an Italian restaurant where they treat you exactly like family. Have you ever been at a relative's and they keep bringing food, even if you are full? This is how it works in Dino's and Toni's place. We went there to enjoy some traditional Italian dishes and that's exactly what we got. Very good pasta and deserts. Will... More
