Fantastic restaurant, great food, the founder still works in the kitchen & service very personal we were given good advice on the menu & they chose a regional red wine which was excellent. My only concern in putting it on trip advisor is that more people will find it! Full of local italian couples & families which tells you a... More

I am Italian and work in the Vatican area. Occasionally I eat at Piacere Molise and yes, it is a good place. Food is genuine, with some reservations, service is friendly, it is overall a good local choice in an area full of poor quality tourist eateries. The owners could invest a bit more in the quality of their ingredients-... More

Our hotel manager recommended Piacere Molise. He said it was an excellent neighborhood place to eat. He was right. All the tables were reserved, but the business card from our hotel that the manager had signed got my husband and me a table. We shared the melon and prosciutto and an insalada mista-salad so fresh and crisp and the melon-the... More

My son and I had a dinner at this restaurant We took one molise typical pasta and pinsa which is a oval pizza. The service was good, and it's looks like many locals eats here. The pasta was excellent, although a bit too salty. The pinsa was very tasty.

We come here every time we visit Rome. Excellent food and we feel at home. The swordfish and spinach were beautiful. Just a few street back from the Vatican and away from the crowds

We followed all the unspoken rules about choosing a place to eat in Italy, and this ticked all the boxes. For those who don't know; no pictures on the menu, no english set menu, empty at 7pm (Italians eat much much later), and nobody out the front trying to drag you in! It was superb! Great food and so close... More

Lovely family run restaurant. No pounding music. Great menu with something for everyone. Pasta, Fish, meat, vegetarian Steak with balsamic fabulous. Pannacotta only wish I'd had room for 2. Happy to serve Presseco by the glass. Be prepared to take your time over your meal, but then slow food is the best food. When we come back to Rome we'll... More

Stopped back in this little gem about 11 months after our first visit and the meal, service and atmosphere were still wonderful. I had the ricotta ravioli with lemon and saffron and my husband had a good pizza. Less than a 7 minute walk from the entrance to the Vatican Museum. Open for lunch and dinner and reasonably priced.

We greatly enjoyed our meals here! Not geared for tourists especially, but that's generally a good thing when it comes to having excellent food. After leaving the Vatican museums we were barraged with hawkers handing out flyers for things like a 'quinck lunch'. No kidding. We walked a little more and found this place. We took the time to have... More

We went to this restaurant to have dinner, but I'm not feeling well and just my husband would like to eat. When we asked to a laddie (we think she was the owner) a pasta, just for him, she refused to serve. I tried to explain that I was not feeling well but she refused again and told us that... More
