Traditional, nice trattoria in lively Trastevere. ‘Cacio & Pepe’ pasta, served in Parmesan dish, is simply amazing, one of the very best in Rome. Deep fried Baccalà and Zucchini are equally ‘hits’ of the place, with fresh and tasty ingredients, but come-in too deeply fried...More

I had high expectations for this restaurant, having read that it was Anthony Bourdain's favorite restaurant, but was disappointed and could barely finish my meal. I started with zucchini flower with stuffed anchovy and cheese, however, the cheese hadn't really melted and I could still...More

Make a reservation to make sure you get a table and then go and enjoy feeling like a local. The Cacio e Pepe is served in a bowl made of Parmesan which add to the specialness of this simple dish. We also had the pasta...More

Don't be put off by the unassuming exterior or the faded menu outside. This place is lovely and got busy very quickly after opening for lunch. The waiters were brilliant. Very funny and obviously used to dealing with stupid tourists trying out their terrible Italian....More

I have been here several times over the past few years. Last week, I took my two adult sons here as well as my husband. We all had the cacio pepe -- pasta in a creamy, peppery cheese sauce in a Parmesan bowl. And it...More

Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded

streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
