Had not been here for a few years and too bad...it's not as it was. The food (interesting antipasti and honest good Roman pastas and abbacchio) are always about the same., but the dissapointment was with the service. Apparently nice & friendly but then you have to wait 45 min for the pasta after the antipasti...too long especially when the... More

Found this little piazza by chance and decided on Polese rather than the other place (which seemed busier) on the corner (which advertised American breakfast!). Was not disappointed .. food was really good (particularly the octopus pie which we didn't see on any other menu). Lots of outdoor seating. Friendly service. Well recommended.

And we were able to eat dinner outside at the end of December (good heaters). Great food, great staff. Our party of 10, including 4 teens, had a variety of food and everyone wants to go back, so I think this is confirmation.

After receiving the papal blessing and a hop on hop off tour we stopped in here on the way back to the hotel. This is a great charcuterie, restaurant. Well prepared lunch, warm heaters for outside dining, super, kind and prompt service and great food which results in a high rating.

In this three sided piazza there are three restaurants to choose from. Polese is at the back of the square and serves good food. The menu is extensive and the pizzas are excellent. Pizza biance (without tomato sauce) Romana has pan fried chicory and sausage, delicious and good value EUR 9:50. The Roman artichoke was crisp. Nothing special but reliable... More

We had dinner in this restaurant. The food was very, especially the pizza and the calzone. The atmosphere was also nice, set in a courtyard. The service was kind of slow though...

Our flight into Rome came in very late and we asked our Hotel to find somewhere VERY close that we could eat after 10pm. They booked and recommended this place. Very friendly staff, excellent meal. My spaghetti Carbonara was the best I have ever tasted. Very cheap too. And excellent well priced wine list

Thank mark j
