In this three sided piazza there are three restaurants to choose from. Polese is at the back of the square and serves good food. The menu is extensive and the pizzas are excellent. Pizza biance (without tomato sauce) Romana has pan fried chicory and sausage, delicious and good value EUR 9:50. The Roman artichoke was crisp. Nothing special but reliable... More

We had dinner in this restaurant. The food was very, especially the pizza and the calzone. The atmosphere was also nice, set in a courtyard. The service was kind of slow though...

Our flight into Rome came in very late and we asked our Hotel to find somewhere VERY close that we could eat after 10pm. They booked and recommended this place. Very friendly staff, excellent meal. My spaghetti Carbonara was the best I have ever tasted. Very cheap too. And excellent well priced wine list

Our first night in Rome. Waiter was funny and a bit cheeky. Pizza was amazing. Courtyard lighting was nice. Prices were affordable. We went back the next night also.

Stopped here for a quick lunch after visiting the Vatican museums. Had a pasta dish with clams, which was nothing special and very oily. It was cooked al dente though and the prices are fair. It's located in a piazza away from the road. You could stop here to grab something quickly before you continue sightseeing.

The food, service and atmosphere where absolutely perfect! We visited this Polese twice for lunch while we were in Rome. It sits back in a little courtyard so it's nice that it's not right on a street with car whipping past you. The food is to die for and the staff were sweet and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Pizza was decent although was pasta fairly salty. Was good service until one wide waiter (of Asian descent) randomly insulted me and ruined the lunch. Won't bother heading back.

We had a very nice meal at Trattoria Polese. The restaurant is in a plaza, away from traffic and noise. Good pasta and the best veal dish ever. The roast lamb was good also, as were the house red and white wines. The service was friendly, though the servers were a bit rushed and mixed up one of our dishes.... More
