The food was nothing special but ok. The bill at the end made one feel tricked... Not that much because of the overpriced drinks but mostly for the bread: €2.70 pp, brought without being ordered... No wonder no locals were to be found there...

We found this restaurant as we were walking back to town from the Borghese Gallery. It was a lovely day and we sat outside for lunch. The food was excellent. We had an extremely helpful and humorous waiter, Bonafacio.

We stayed at the Westin Excelsior on Via Veneto. The concierge recommended this restaurant. He said that he eats there himself. He was right, the food is very good and feels like a roman mom cooked it. The restaurant is not fancy, the sidewalk area...More

Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
