Tried the gelateria just around the corner from Piazza del Popolo, and it was great! Fair prices (3,5€ for 3 flavors). If possible, I would definitely recommend trying the almond and orange flavor combo - it's amazing!!

It looked like a very nice place. When you entered you were supposed to take a note for the que. The problem was only that people did not form a line and the people behind the counter did not pay anny attention to the customers waiting in the back. We stood there for more then 5 minutes without getting any... More

One of the best in Rome. Great variety and the best quality. I suppose the cone could be even better. Try the chocolate with rume!

Had a lot of ice cream/gelato in Rome, and this gelateria had a lot of flavours, was well priced and very quick service. It's also around the corner from Piazza del Popolo where you can sit and people watch while your enjoy your gelato. (When you're done head to the opposite side of the piazza to the Museo Leonardo da... More

Went here twice as it was quite near the flat I was staying at. Really good gelatos with lots of interesting flavors. Would have given it a 5 if not for the not so friendly staff.

For us it was definitely the best desert we had in Italy. So many flavors to choose from and the fact that they serve only flavors that are in season was amazing.

If you are looking for the best gelato in Rome, you have to go to this place. it not fancy but its the tastiest gelato. i tried the zabaglione, stracciatella, pistachio and vanilla, al were amazing. My 2 year old had a small cone of vanilla covered with chocolate and loved it, perfect size for kids!

My wife and I went gelato-hunting in Rome. Tried many highly rated gelato places but this one served the best. No fancy colorings, syrups, and other unnecessary additions to beef up their products - just honest good gelato with amazing texture. Not overly sweet either, which is a major plus for us.

Not our first time here. It's still good, but not as good as I remember it. Not sure if that's because I've had lots of other gelato since then or it's depreciated a bit.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
