From the outside, the restaurant looks like a middel range restaurant, but immediately when entering, you realise that you have arrived to a special place. Inside the restaurant was almost full - with mainly local people - which is always a good sign. The restaurant is situated closely to the Vatican - but not spoiled by tourists. The food are... More

We visited this friendly, traditional restaurant twice in our four day stay in Rome - very grateful to have such a good place right across the road from our hotel after a long day seeing the sights. It doesn't look much on the outside as it's a basement restaurant but is welcoming with good food. On both visits we seemed... More

We were staying just up the road from this small but perfect restaurant and having read the great reviews on tripadvisor we decided to give it a try. We received a warm welcome upon arriving and even though the restaurant was very busy the owner and the waitresses were so friendly and lovely. We loved the food we had, which... More

Had the pleasure of eating twice at this place on our week in Rome. I know, so many places to visit, yet we repeated. It was just very tasty and decently priced in comparison to some of the newer places in the area which made it worth a second visit. The menu is not very extensive but the dishes are... More

We just had pizza, salad dessert and wine. Good quality at reasonable prices. This was just opposite our hotel so was a great first night place to eat.

Very lucky to find this place after a morning touring the Vatican. Only 5 minutes walk from Vatican and a great find. The food was so tasty. And great value

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
