A genuine family owned restaurant with a top level chef in the kitchen. Simple but exquisite ingredients with Neapolitan influences amongst the Roman classics. Mix of local and tourists, no pressure from the host . I will be back !

Directly next to the Piazza Trilussa, this Osteria offers quality food at affordable price. We ate for a 3 course dinner, wine, water etc for less than 50 Euros. Service was very kind but not annoying at any time. Definitely a place to visit again.

We spent 10 days traveling in Spain and Rome and had the best meal of our trip here. The waiter was extremely professional and the food was great. It was a truly Italian experience.

When in Italy, it's hard to have a bad meal, but the food at this restaurant was outstanding. Definitely placing in it in the top 2 meals I've had in Italy. It wasn't crowded when we went on a Wednesday night and they were able...More

The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. They did not have the wine we asked for, but gave us something better for less money,

We loved L'Antico Moro restaurant located in the heart of the Travestere section of Rome. We were the only 2 non-Italians so we knew it would be special. The staff were exceptionally helpful. It was wonderful to have women serving unlike in most restaurants in...More

We lived in Rome some years ago (1998-2002) and return almost every year to the Eternal City, and to this delightful restaurant. L'Antico Moro is also eternal - the same owners (although the parents passed away, the lovely daughter is now managing), the same delicious...More

Visted during lunch and it was barely anyone here. Had a carbonara and calamares with scampi and it was delicious. Creme caramel was good as well.

What a relief to get a decent dinner. After 2 very disappointing meals (see my other Rome reviews) my wife and I were delighted with the quality of the food and the level of service. The waiter was very friendly without being too attentive. The...More

Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
