We arrived in Rome and our hotel recommended this restaurant for lunch. We sat outside and had a very nice waiter who spoke some English. We ordered both pastas and pizza along with salads and wine and everything was delicious. The food was very fresh tasting. It was a lovely experience for our first meal in Rome. We then came... I guess in Rome to get pasta, most places don't open until 7pm so that's why we went here. We sat outside and it took the waitress forever to acknowledge us. We ordered a white pizza with ham and potato and a pasta dish with cream sauce and broccoli. The wait was quite long for our food considering we were... More

If you're looking for authentic Italian food where the Romans eat, offering quality fare, great service and a REALLY reasonable price you need to eat here. Our experience was like eating in an Authentic Italian Kitchen. Fresh ingredients, tasty wine and excellent wait staff (ask for Sylvia)! Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. In the San Giovanni area... More

We spent 4 nights in Rome and ate here 3 times! Once for Lunch and twice for dinner. The food is absolutely amazing. A true Roman food experience. I cannot say enough good things about the food and the service. We have been to Rome several times and have eaten in all popular spots and NOTHING compares to this restaurant.... More

needed to eat locally and it was a public holiday so lots of places shut so we thought we would try here - as previously stated they bring you bread straight away which my hungry 10 year old tucked into and was charged 3 euro for it on the bill- the food was ok but we found we were still... More

One of those places which people visit for convenience rather than good food. Very average food, pizza was ok but when everyone at your table is feeling disappointed you know they are doing something wrong. Service was ok. Nothing special, no wow factors. I took a steak, for the same price in the centre of Rome you can find much... More

They have a hidden service charge of 16+% which is not mentioned anywhere. They quickly put bread on the table which they'll charge of for, without asking if you wanted the bread in the first place! They provide very poor service, but they make sure you pay the service charge!! An awful experience.

We have been coming to this place for years. The main restaurant is now undergoing renovation so La Tellina has moved temporarily next door but the menu is the same. We continue to enjoy the antipasti, especially the warm ones. The first courses are very good, especially the one with broccoli and seabass. The main courses are more variable; this... More

My partner and I came here after a long day sight seeing. The waiter was quick to give us menus and also spoke good English:) The bruchetta entree was divine. My partner got a pizza which he said was nice just not spicy enough! And I got the gnocchi with 3 cheeses- absolutely delicious. Soo filling though! Good service and... More
