Went for an evening meal and the lady member of staff was horrible and in no way should have been part of the restaurant business.the guy who I think was the owner was embarrassed by the constant chaos throughout the floor and kitchen area.the guy did offer us a free meal though but I don't think I'll be back. Sad... More

Rather sloppy service. Forgot half of our order. Food was ok, though. Nice pizzas. Interior fine. Very loud TVs.

We found this bar/restaurant on our first night in Rome. Relaxed and helpful, straight away they made us welcome. The food is excellent and in our opinion not badly priced. We liked it so much went three nights out of four we were in Rome. Gave us complimentary liqueurs every evening, meloncello, pistachio and limoncello. We highly recommend Vito's

Nice enough but pizzas were undercooked. Friendly enough staff. House red wine far nicer than the White.

This is one helluva authentic Italian restaurant! I was amazed at the service and the impeccable food. Tucked away on a back street of Rome, this quaint but powerhouse of flavors of a restaurant satisfies the entire palate. The mushroom risotto was top notch. Best I have ever had from anywhere in the world. The oizz, which the restaurant is... More

The place is highly overpriced. Meals are off an average quality but cost almost twice as much as in other places in the neighbourhood, even though we're talking the very center of the city. Bread is charged extra, although brought out without you ordering. Service fee of 10% was also a surprise. All in all we paid 60 euro for... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
