I came to the restaurant with my boyfriend to have dinner and I ordered the carbonara dish, it was so bad that no person should eat it. So I asked the waitress if there is something they could do, maybe change for something else but their answer was that they made it already so I can't return and have to... More

Great pizza and pasta. A small but great place to eat in Trastevere . You have to stay a liitle bit in line if it is busy but it is ok. A good and resonable priced place .

It is right in the entrance of the district and the handmade pasta was the thing that attracted us. The atmosphere is not its strong point to our personal opinion, though it is clean and smoking is prohibited. We went for a dish with cheese and different pasta. Actually everything was cooked very well but our stomachs are not used... More

Popped in for a light lunch during a long walk around the city. The selection of beer was more interesting than some places of this type but I have to say, the vegetarian pasta my wife had was very bland and not particularly good at all. Still, I will say that the pizzas looked reasonable and the service was fair... More

We came across this place accidentially on a friday evening and it was totally worth it. They are serving red and white pizzas and basic pasta dishes. Prices are reasonable. Me and my friend had the Margherita DOC and it was really good. The place was full with locals and we could see quite a few customers getting waitlisted because... More

2 adults and 2 children had walked a long time around Rome before heading for a late lunch across the river in Trastevere when we discovered this place. It was perfect. Friendly helpful staff and delicious pizza; we shared Margherita and a Amatriciana, both 7 euros and plenty for 4 for lunch, although the young ones were tempted by the... More

My boyfriend had a gorgonzola and pear pizza, and it was amazing. My vegetarian pizza was good, but not the best that I've had in Rome. This menu pointed out the vegetarian pizzas, so it might be a good bet for vegetarian travellers. Our waitress was good and knew a fair amount of English. A nice spot in an interesting... More

This one of six locations in Rome. They are a good place to stop for a quick cheap eats. The bread is one of the better breads served with dinner. It has a nice crust. The Napoli style pizza was good. They also have a good selection. The location is also good for people watching. The staff is friendly and... More

I've been here in May for dinner and had a pretty nice vegetarian pizza. It was on a Saturday evening, and the place was full so we had to wait for a couple of minutes. The waiter was a bit moody.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
