Fabulous food, lovely atmosphere. Book in advance - it fills up quickly. A little quirk - bread is served in a brown paper bag 😊

In the moddle of tourist Rome we stumbled into this restaurant which was full of locals having Sunday lunch. We were made very welcome. Several of our group had rabbit which they pronounced delicious. The house wine was good and the bill was reasonable. We will go back

This restaurant is only a short step away from so many standard restaurants with urgers out the front. But it is so different. the service was really welcoming, and the food was all fabulous. I had a bean entree and a Baccala and bean soup. Seems similar, but they were very different dishes. My panna cotta was so-so, but the... More

La Quercia is located slightly away from the crowds and has a nice atmosphere. The food selection is very interesting, with lots of local fare. The breaded sheep brain and sheep offal for appetisers were excellent. The tagliatelle vongole came with lots of sweet green peppers - an interesting choice. The oxtail pasta was ok - rather undercooked the pasta,... More

The restaurant is located on a lovely quiet piazza that is not far from the main streets. It has a comfortable cozy atmosphere inside. We enjoyed the stuffed zucchini blossoms, porcini, pici with asparagus & truffle, saltimbocca and osso bucca. They also have a good house wine.

A very beautiful, clean and modern place, cozy atmosphere... reasonable prices and not touristic ... Very good pasta with truffles - this is what I had and loved it :)

Great place! Goodlooking youngish men opened this place some years ago, i think 3 of them. Superlative Fiori di Zucca ( Squash blossoms) and Pici con Tartufo (truffels pasta). Liveliest place, a lot of fun, very Roman, mostly locals. Try puff pastry dessert "tower" with whipped mascarpone(?) and crean between layers. Very popular, probably hard to just walk-in. Memorable, I... More

This restaurant was a pleasant stroll across the Ponte Sisto from our hotel in Trastevere. We ate dinner there twice. The food was excellent - on the first visit I had cod strudel as a starter, simply because it sounded so unusual, and it was really good, as was the huge portion of baked lamb. The second visit was on... More

When I visited this restaurant 1,5 year ago I really like it. So that why we booked again when we visited Rom in October. The decoration was the same. But the service was quite bad compared to last time - and the food was not so tasteful as last time. Something has happen to this restaurant - so that why... More

A cosy restaurant on the side of a small 'pizza's, meters from the French embassy in Rome and away from the so crowded touristic streets. The menu is purely Roman and will bring you at the heart of what Rome is all about ! Simple yet delicious dishes, deserts that will blow your mind (the tiramisu is a touch of... More
