Our favorite dinner in Rome! Our guide recommended for our last night in Rome and it was by far our favorite! Dinner was outstanding and the the staff was exceptional! We were late for our reservation because of rain and lack of taxi’s available yet...More

My boyfriend and I came to the center or Rome just to go eat at this restaurant just because I was told that they serve really good Roman food. As we reserved a table the previous day, we were welcomed in and set down really...More

So had a table booked for last night and given the poor reviews thought it best to check and confirm the reservation by phone and was told it was confirmed. Turned up at the destination on time to find the restaurant was shut. Quite a...More

If you want to really understand what is Carbonara, here you can understand it and fall in love with this meal. Make sure you book properly in advance as this place is hard to book.

This was advertised as a typical Roman trattoria; I've eaten classical Roman food many times but this was about the worst experience. Ok it's not supposed to be light but at least it's supposed to taste good to compensate. Not the case here. Fat seems...More

Very heavy food with little taste and lots of bones. No proper food, just FAT and BONES. I ordered a starter, but it was so fat, I couldn't eat any more after it. Whatever was in the plate didn't even look eatable. Once I got...More

I have been here twice in 2017. Now that I am back in Rome I thought about the service and decided I would write a review. The owner is condescending. The first time I went to this restaurant I was with a colleague who for-warned...More

She ate here. So did various celebs. Nice little gimmick. The food though is exceptional. The carbonara is worth the hype. Very Italian, so not with a lot of sauce if that’s your bag, but fresh and full of the flavour of the yolk and...More

Tried different pasta dishes because this place is supposed to be one of the best in Rome, but they were average at best. The carbonara was dry and not very tasty. Service is OK. Meat has lots of fat. Not worth the trip.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
