I recommended this place by a friend who ate here last year and said food was good. Unfortunately we never got as far as eating, before walking out after being seated because of the disgusting way we were treated. I am very big on feeling comfortable and welcomed into an establishment I intend on spending money and eating at. However... More

The main course is ok. But we asked the staff weather the buffet is free, he only said take food by yourself. When we check bill, the buffet cost us at least 8 euro per person. Those food are awful and not fresh. We are unhappy with that.

That's the lesson to be learned from this little gem. It doesn't look like much, but that soon becomes irrelevant when you have an undecorated plate of amazing food in front of you. Whether it's the lasagna or the gnocchi or the tiramisu (we have yet to find a better one and have already gained a lot of weight in... More

Food was very good. Staff extremely helpful understood English reasonably well and wine excellent. Was quiet around 8pm when we arrived but got very busy after then and all the tables booked up quickly. Buffet style starter option available with lots of choices. Price was very reasonable would recommend.

We came here on the strength of some pretty good reviews but left extremely disappointed. I guess there was nothing actually wrong with the food, it just wasn't very special. For example gnocchi with no sauce to accompany and spaghetti without even being offered grated parmesan cheese to add some flavour, and it all tasted a bit oily. Whilst locals... More

The lady we rented a room from told us about this place, I thought it was extremely over priced and that the food, such as a simple spaghetti with meatballs costed us about € 20. Not worth it and very dedicated that it displayed a trip advisor sticker . Thumbs down.

We followed trip advisor for this one. Welooked for restaurants that were close to where we are staying. This strategy paid off brilliantly. Lampada was a local restaurant run by Italians who know their food. We had gnocchi, minestrone followed by meatballs and desert. it was fantastic.

Front desk staff at Romanico Palace, recommended this restaurant. It was a short walk from the hotel. Our family of 5 enjoyed a great dinner. Very nice staff and good food. Great local place.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
