We found this little place throug Tripadvisor and decided to go for dinner as it was close to our hotel. We could not be happier with the choice of resturant. The atmosphere is laid back and cosy, and the people who work there are so very helpfull and friendly. The menu have something for everyone, my boyfriend and I are... More

Found this restaurant by accident, well out from the center of town near the Piazza Vittorio Emanuelle II. A smallish restaurant with a small area on the pavement out front for al fresco dining. The staff are extremely helpful & friendly, the ambience relaxing and the menu varied but typically Italian. The food is extremely good and excellent value for... More

Service was fabulous with our waiter being very patient with our terrible attempts at Italian and making us laugh throughout the meal. The food was proper Italian fare and the fillet steak was beautiful. Our group of four had a shared starter, then main and desserts each. We then tried Italian liqueurs with extra desserts (including a flaming brûlée!). The... More

Visited here based on TripAdvisor reviews of restaurants in the area. First visit was superb - food and wine delicious and great service. All at reasonable price too. Booked again for last night of holiday as wanted guaranteed good food and service. Food again was delicious - wine not so great but think it was because first night's house Montepulciano... More

We ordered 2 pizzas to take away and they prepared them in less than 15 minutes. Pizzas were tasty and we paid only 15€ for both pizzas. When I was waiting for them I saw the desserts ordered by other costumers and they looked delicious. I'll taste them next day!

We couldn't have made a better choice for the last dinner of our trip. The fish tasting menu was a big hit, the white wine of Lazio was well paired with it, the service was impeccable, and we had a great cap to our trip. What more could you ask?

Found this on TripAdvisor. The welcome and the service could not have been better. The food was very good and the portions were enormous. I want to go back there again tonight.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
