Our b&b recommended this place to us as a good local restaurant. First night we went the place was booked out so we returned the next night right when they opened at 7pm. Amongst a line of like minded folks before it even opened, We were told they could seat us as long as we were done by 8:30 as... More

So nice to find a reasonably priced place in the centre of town!! Even better that the service is snappy and the food is good. We both had pasta dishes, they were fresh and tasty and good. There are many locals eating here, which indicates good food and good value. I would not disagree. On a cold day, we left... More

Owning a business, I've heard that to succeed, you need 2 of 3: convenience, value, quality. Well, I would say this establishment has all 3. Great food, great value and awesome service. This is a family run restaurant where the locals go. Unpretentious, and authentic. We ordered pasta, wine, and secondi. All were great. Calamari tender and not chewy. Bread... More

Amazing food. Amazing value. Amazing service. We had 1.5 litres red wine, appetisers, pasta and meat courses and it came to €50 for both of us. Such yummy food.

This is a real roman reastaurant, the kind of place where you can imagine Monica Vitti enter and asks for "un quartino de rosso", and that exactly what I asked for. I have eaten artichoke "alla romana", puntarelle salad wiyh a special dressing "della casa" and fried anchovies (tasty, only a little bit gummy). And the bill was really unexpensive!

This Vecchia Roma restaurants is good enough for tourists but honestly it is just average compared to the level of the roman restaurants. It is ok but not really special. Nice location in a good neiborhood. Waiter was kind.

We have been here with a friend who lives in roma and she was quite ok with our choice but at all it was that good. We had bruschetta which was ok but not outstanding and for primeri a hand made spagetthi with peccorino and black paper which was good. For secondi I had a pizzi siliciana which was that... More
