Having walked around the Colosseum all morning this was a welcome sight. My pizza was good and the ham and cheese starter was also fine. The pitcher of house red was very drinkable and all in it was good vfm at €27 for two of us.

Wonderful service! The most delicious cacio e Pepe pasta and sea bass that melts in your mouth. Try the Limoncello to end a wonderful meal.

Our servers were excellent. The food was amazing. The desserts were decadent. We had a wonderful time both evenings that we were here and really enjoyed the environment, the food, and service. We were given complimentary drinks one night, and our server made great recommendations. Highly recommend. Wishing I was there right now!

We had two dinners here. Our hotel recommended it. You can eat light or have a formal Italian dinner. Great ravioli. Nice waiters.

If you like thin and crispy pizzas - this is the place to come. Doesn't look anything special from the outside, but great food.

Came across this restaurant as the one we wanted was fully booked, decided to come here as the reviews seemed alright. That was a mistake! The service is dreadful. We never got our starter, the side came way before the meals did. The ravioli we ordered was slightly warmed with a very tasteless tomato sauce. The pizza dough was undercooked... More

It's really good restaurant. The owner of the hotel we stayed recommended us Tempio di Mecenate. We tried it and we came back the next evening and the New year's evening. Everything we tried was so delicious - pizza, pasta, tiramisu. The wine is wonderful too. The service is perfect.

The restaurant was quite busy but we were served quickly and politely. We skipped starters and had mains, desserts and a jug of the house wine. The meat was beautifully cooked, the full meal was very enjoyable. I had Lemon sorbet which game in a glass and was more like a drink than a desert, it wasn't what I expected... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
